Qtel is a telnet client for OS/2 that incorporates native QNX terminal emulation. It is ideal for communicating for QNX hosts via TCP/IP.

DosNX

DosNX is a connectivity tool used to connect QNX and DOS networks.

• use DOS machines as very high speed text terminals to QNX systems
• transfer files between DOS and QNX at network speed
• print re-direction from DOS to QNX or vice-versa
• remote viewing/control of DOS computers (text mode) from QNX
• DOS computers can access QNX disks

DosNX is available for Arcnet with QNX 2 and for Ethernet or Arcnet for QNX 4.

Also available as options:

• Native QNX terminal emulator for MS-Windows
• API - message passing between QNX and DOS applications
• NLrelay - message passing between QNX 2 and QNX 4 applications
• OnLink - use QNX as a DOS file server (SMB protocol)

OnCmd

OnCMD is a dBASE compatible database, plus some extentions, including interprocess communications.

Level 1
The Index Manager for direct, low-level access to databases. This is the runtime component required for applications developed using C.

Level 2
The OnCmd Database Engine and Utilities to support .dbf files added to Level 1. C Language API is required for development of applications that run at Level 2.

Level 3
The xBase Runtime Interpreter is required for runtime systems to execute xBase applications added to Level 2.

Level 4
The xBase Compiler required only for development of Level 3 applications (includes Level 3).

OnCmd is also available for OS/2.

IPX Protocol Stack For QNX 4

IPX for QNX 4 is used for development of applications that communicate between QNX 4 and Novell based network workstations using Novell's native low level communications. Available only for ethernet.
